| America is the tossed salad of the
world, incorporating different cultures from all over the globe into one
nation. As future educators, it's our responsibility to instill
knowledge and exposure to our future generation. This will enable our
society to continue being the most diverse nation of the world. The pen is mightier than the sword and there is no other powerful tool than children's literature. By planting the seed of diversity in our children's minds, hearts and eyes through literature, we begin the fertilization process of lifelong learning and acceptance of other cultures. |
